Tupelo Residential Rental Update

Tupelo, MSThe first quarter of 2009 has been a bit slow in the rental market in our area as the economy readjusts to the changes in the marketplace. Beginning in early March the rental inquiries began to increase somewhat. Properties that rent under $600.00 a month seem to be in the greatest demand. Those that will allow Section #8 subsidy are quite popular. There are still quite a few upper priced rentals, ranging between $700.00 and $2500.00 a month. We have 2 bedroom duplexes and homes with 3 to 5 bedrooms available in the upper rental market range.
